From the Olympic Tower, you can enjoy a fantastic view over the Bavarian capital. The Olympic Stadium, with its unusual tent roof construction, has also long since become a Munich landmark. The spacious green area of the Olympic Park is one of the most used recreational oases in the city: athletes, walkers and playing children romp around the spacious area. The central Curt-Mezger-Platz is home to the Cultural Center, which was built in 2006 and can be seen from afar thanks to its reddish exterior façade. The center is the contact point for cultural workers, artists, musicians and associations in the neighborhood. In the immediate vicinity of Curt-Mezger-Platz, a handful of mobile market carts can be found every Friday to offer fresh food from the region: the weekly market Milbertshofen.
